Is it really June already? That just snuck up on me out of no where.
Oh, summer, how happy I am that you are here. I've missed you so. It will take several months of hot, humid days to thaw out the parts of me that froze during the harsh Midwestern winter. So, bring it on. Bring on the sun, the heat, the lazy days. We are ready.
Need proof?
Here's some of what we've already been doing...
Al fresco dining.
Feeding the ducks.
Renaissance Festival.
Playing at the park.
Enjoying the lake.
This is absolutely my favorite season. I plan on enjoying every single moment I can.
I love it too! The carefree, slow pace makes my heart sing!
ReplyDeleteI am excited for summer too. I have 5 more days to work and then I am done until Aug 24. I am going to enjoy myself.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys are having a blast.
Oh, I love summer too. Except for the humidity thing, but what can you do.
ReplyDeleteAnd ooh, a Renaissance Festival! I love those things. Haven't been to one in ages.
Wow, youguys have been pretty busy lately! Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteWe had our first real hot day Yesterday. I decided I was ready for fall.... But today we turned on the AC and I am feeling a lot better about summer now.
ReplyDeleteI love these photographs...you are so talented. Summer offers so much and good memories are always made. Enjoy it...can't wait to see what your family does this season!
ReplyDeleteSince snow has fallen on the valley floor roughly very two to three weeks, I'm enjoying an extended Spring. The blooms are glorious, the evening walks no longer chilly enough to require a sweater-- It's as perfect as it gets!
ReplyDeleteWhen you look at the evening star, and listen to the last bird calls and watch the fireflies begin to twinkle, we're thinking of you from one nice place to another! Save some fun for when we get there!
Summer makes me so happy. Looks like y'all are living it up!
ReplyDeleteLove this post...love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being an avid follower of mine...I will be reading yours daily!
